SUMMARY  
Under general supervision, is responsible for preparing, cooking and setting presentations up for food and beverages for Bella Rosa’s special events, including, but not limited to, tournaments, leagues and outings. Hours per week will vary based on event schedule, but generally consists of 15-20 hours per month from approximately May to September annually.    
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / FUNCTIONS 
·         Cook and prepare food for golf course special events. 
·         Must be able to work independently. 
·         Responsible for adhering to food safety guidelines in the preparation and storage of all food. 
·         Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product as needed. 
·         Responsible for keeping the kitchen and all equipment clean, organized, and in good working order. 
·         Assist in ordering food for upcoming events. 
·         Prepare food for any upcoming events or busy weekends. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES 
·         Knowledge of food preparation principles, cooking techniques, ingredients and equipment.  Ability to cook food to order.  
·         Ability and willingness to work varied shifts, weekends and holidays as needed. 
·         Ability to gauge workflow and determine priorities based on staff and customer needs. 
·         Ability to work cooperatively with others in a team environment. 
 
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND TRAINING 
·         Must be at least 18 years of age. 
·         High School Diploma or Equivalent. 
·         Must be able to pass a criminal background check. 
·         Food handling training is required. 
·         At least one year of prior experience is preferred.  

WORKING ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES 
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, see, and use hands and fingers to touch, handle, grasp, push and pull.  The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand and walk for long periods of time, and may be exposed to hot surfaces, hot food and beverages. Work is performed primarily outside; employee may be exposed to extreme temperatures and/or inclement weather conditions. The employee may frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
